GET TRAINED
We are excited to announce recent changes in Red Cross training. Starting on January 1, 2011, the certification period for Lay Responder level classes - with the exception of Bloodbourne Pathogens - will be two years. Adult Cpr/AED, Infant CPR, Child CPR/AED and First Aid will all be a 2-year certification period.
Additionally, all class materials for Red Cross training classes are now available free of charge on-line at redcross.org for downloading or printing. You can visit that site or click HERE to access these high quality Health & Safety products.
The American Red Cross provides several types of training. We are perhaps best well know for our Health & Safety training classes - First Aid and CPR. The Red Cross also provides training to our volunteers and the general public on other topics, such as Disaster Preparedness. Click on the following links for more information on that topic.
